Take a free tour of our interactive Environmental Education Center. Find out where your garbage goes, how recycling really works, and other important issues affecting Rockland’s environment. The tour will include a short video, a view out to the recyclables processing area, and time to play with our hands-on environmental exhibits. Fun and educational for the entire family!

Native Plants Demonstration Garden
Take a walk through the Authority’s Native Plants Garden to learn about sustainable landscaping in our area. There will be ongoing home composting demonstrations happening in the garden throughout the day.
