Grass, leaves and brush are collected from throughout the County and then composted, mulched and marketed. A portion of the compost and mulch is available to the municipalities for use in public works projects and distribution to their residents.

Clarkstown Scalehouse:	Monday - Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm Saturday: 7:00am to 12pm
Solid Waste Facility Office:	Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4pm
Clarkstown Mulch Facility & Compost Site:	Monday-Friday 7:30 to 3:30pm Saturday: 8:00am to 2:30pm

Prices

Grass:	$40.00 per ton
Brush:	$40.00 per ton
Leaves:	$25.00 per ton
Stumps:	$50.00 per ton

Mixed yard waste will be charged at $45.00 per ton

Tires will be taken at $2.00 per ton
Over 200 tires will be charged at $200.00 per ton

WE DO NOT ACCEPT LARGE TRUCK TIRES

We sell structural fill and asphalt at $1.00 per cubic yard and $5.00 per cubic yard respectively.
