Part I Amphitheater:
Through interactive discussions, students will have a good understanding of solid waste management programs, environmental concerns and solutions. Students will view parts of the recycling operations on a large screen television. See how paper, glass, metal and plastic recyclables are sorted before they are sent to remanufacturing facilities to be made into new products.

Part II Observation Deck:
Students will move to a large bay window to observe workers baling the sorted recyclables. They will see the baled materials stacked inside the facility, ready for shipment. When a full truckload has accumulated, forklifts will load the bales into tractor trailers for transportation to remanufacturing facilities.

Part III Star Lab:
In the Star Lab students will have the opportunity to experiment on interactive exhibits geared toward education on energy consumption, yardwaste composting, effects of toxic materials on the body, new products from old recyclables, how to make smart choices for the environment and a comparison of two recycling and non-recycling households.
